University Announces New Colleges and School
The College of Education and Human Services will be divided into two new colleges: the College for Education and Engaged Learning and the College for Community Health to prepare future education and community health professionals. The University will also launch the School of Computing within the College of Science and Mathematics which will foster academic leadership and computing research.

Overall I like Montclair State a lot. As a commuter I was able to experience and enjoy a lot of the campus and not feel like I was missing out on anything. The always had events in the common areas that all the campus was free to participate in. The classes were a great size big enough to not feel targeted but small enough to also be known by your professor if you needed some extra assistance with anything or would like a mentorship. Very friendly and safe campus; you’d see campus police all the time. My time there was great I’m glad I went there!

I had a great education at Montclair, the networking opportunities is fantastic and there are many campus events in which you can easily get involved in. College is what you make of it, my experience became so much better when I involved myself more in clubs and spent time getting to know my peers and professors. Some minor issues that always comes up is parking-- the acceptance rate is getting higher and higher which is not helping resolve this issue at all. The healthy food options are bland and a lot more pricey than the fried options which I wish was different- there have been a lot of issues with the food, but it has been getting better. The coffee in the student center is my favorite!

I was a commuter so the only down side was the lack of parking and the expensive parking permit every semester/year, kinda wish it was already included in the tuition. Overall great school!
