Invincible[]

Issue #1[]

The story first starts off with Invincible throwing David Hiles in the sky just before the latter explodes. The impact of David Hiles's explosion causes Invincible to get thrown into the snow on the ground. Four months ago, while Mark Grayson poops, Debbie asks Mark Grayson to hurry up his time in the bathroom. Mark Grayson gets annoyed at Debbie and says that he is reading a comic. Debbie requests Mark Grayson to stop reading the comic book, so that he can get ready for school.

Mark Grayson gets himself ready and arrives in the kitchen with his school clothes. Mark Grayson asks Debbie where Nolan Grayson is, but Debbie has no idea on what Nolan Grayson is doing. Mark Grayson asks Debbie to turn on the TV and they both witness Nolan Grayson fighting against a dragon in Taiwan. At school, Mark Grayson meets up with William Clockwell, where William Clockwell asks Mark Grayson if he can hang out with him tonight. Unfortunately, Mark Grayson needs to go to work in Burger Mart in twenty minutes.

William Clockwell feels bad about Mark Grayson's job, so they both wave their goodbyes to each other. In Burger Mart, Mark Grayson accidentally throws a garbage bag into space when attempting to throw the garbage bag into the dumpster. Upon witnessing what he did, Mark Grayson realizes that his Viltrumite DNA has given him superpowers. At the dinner table in the Grayson household, Mark Grayson tells his parents that he has obtained superpowers. During midnight, Mark Grayson goes out of his bedroom through the window to prepare to fly.

Mark Grayson initially acts hesitant at first, but eventually jumps out his house to test his flying abilities. Once Mark Grayson jumps, he realizes that he is floating, so he flies in the sky with excitement. After two weeks, Mark Grayson succeeds in defeating Titan and the latter's criminal partner. After defeating the criminals, Nolan Grayson appears to Mark Grayson and asks him if it is too early for him to be using superpowers and as to how strange the costume looks. Mark Grayson admits that he feels comfortable using his superpowers, so Nolan Grayson takes Mark Grayson to Arthur Rosebaum to give Mark Grayson a better superhero costume.

In Arthur Rosebaum's shop, Grayson requests Arthur Rosebaum that he wants a costume that looks iconic. Arthur Rosebaum suggests to Mark Grayson to think of a superhero name for his costume, so that Arthur Rosebaum can create him a fitting costume. At school, Mark Grayson defends a kid from a school bully and succeeds in defeating the school bully with his superpowers. After defeating the school bully, Mark Grayson is sent to the office to have a talk with Principal Winslow. Principal Winslow warns Mark Grayson to be careful when facing school bullies as Mark Grayson is not "invincible."

Upon hearing the word "invincible," Mark Grayson uses the word "Invincible" as his official superhero name and for his costume. Later, three criminals attempt to rob a bank, but are stopped by Invincible who is holding a car. The criminals warn Invincible to drop off the car, but Invincible instead proclaims that he is Invincible.

Issue #2[]

As a young child, Mark Grayson listens to Nolan Grayson explaining the history of the Viltrumite Empire. Nolan Grayson explains to the young Mark Grayson that the Viltrumites are a benevolent race of aliens that improve the society of different alien races across the universe. Nolan Grayson explains his origins of how he became a protector of Earth and how he met Debbie. During Nolan Grayson's time on Earth, he had forgotten his mission of what he was going to do to Earth as he enjoyed being a protector towards humanity. Nolan Grayson reveals to Mark Grayson that he will obtain superpowers when he grows older due to his Viltrumite DNA.

Due to Nolan Grayson's story, Mark Grayson becomes surprised that he will eventually gain the ability to fly. In the present, Mark Grayson gets up from his bed and flies in the skies during midnight. During his flight, Mark Grayson spots a Mauler that is stealing an arcade game box. Mark Grayson charges at the Mauler, but the Mauler slaps Mark Grayson away. The Mauler questions Mark Grayson if he is late in his bedtime which makes Mark Grayson agree with the Mauler.

Mark Grayson and the Mauler prepare to charge at each other, but are stopped by an explosion. The explosion is then revealed to be caused by Rex Splode and the arrival of the Teen Team. Rex Splode questions the both of them on who started the fight, so the Mauler lifts the vehicle of the Teen Team. The Mauler prepares to attack Robot, Dupli-Kate, and Rex Splode, but the Mauler is knocked out by Mark Grayson. Robot picks up the Mauler and thanks Mark Grayson for his help.

Mark Grayson questions if he knows Atom Eve which makes Atom Eve admit that Mark Grayson looks familiar to her. Before the Teen Team leaves Mark Grayson, Robot introduces all the members of the Teen Team to Mark Grayson. On the next day at school, Mark Grayson is able to meet Atom Eve. They both have a chat with each other before they both leave school. Samantha Eve Wilkins and Mark Grayson go to a dumpster and change into their superhero costumes, so they can fly in the sky.

Both of them arrive inside the bridge and meet up with Robot. Robot is glad to see them arrive as he needs their help to track down the Mauler that Robot had purposely released the night. They all hop in a vehicle and watch the Mauler in the skies. The Mauler reunites with his twin inside a building and they both discuss their plans until they are suddenly attacked by Robot, Atom Eve, and Invincible. All of them succeed in defeating the Mauler Twins, so Robot thanks Invincible and offers him a chance to join the Teen Team.

Issue #3[]

Principal Winslow makes an announcement in school about students going missing and that the students that are still coming to school should not worry about the situation. Mark Grayson complements Eve, so Eve reveals to Mark Grayson that she is dating Rex Splode which makes Mark Grayson become embarrassed. Both of them walk in the cafeteria and Mark Grayson asks Eve to not talk about what they had said earlier to each other. Eve explains to Mark Grayson that he can join the secret lair of the Teen Team as Robot would be glad to see Mark Grayson, but Mark Grayson has never made a clear decision to stay with the Teen Team. Mark Grayson replies to Eve that he doesn't know if he can join the Teen Team as he needs to go to work at Burger Mart.

Eve questions Mark Grayson as to why he works at Burger Mart despite Nolan Grayson's high earnings. Mark Grayson tells Eve that he works at Burger Mart because his father Nolan Grayson wants him to work there to gain experience. Mark Grayson and Eve say their goodbyes to each other, so William Clockwell makes the assumption to Mark Grayson that Eve is his girlfriend. However, Mark Grayson insists to William Clockwell that Eve is not his girlfriend. At Burger Mart, Mark Grayson decides to quit his job.

When Mark Grayson prepares to wash the dishes, Nolan Grayson questions Mark Grayson on how he did his work. Mark Grayson replies that he did fine while lying with the fact that he quitted Burger Mart. Nolan Grayson admits to Mark Grayson that he does not need to work at Burger Mart because Mark Grayson is a superhero while not being aware that Mark Grayson already quitted Burger Mart. Mark Grayson later puts on his Invincible suit and Nolan Grayson asks Mark Grayson if he can come. Mark Grayson admits that it would be great to see his father come.

Invincible and Omni-Man fly in the skies and Omni-man thanks Invincible for being able to do a great job as a hero. Invincible prepares to thank Omni-man, but Omni-Man briefly leaves Invincible to deal with a fire. After Omni-Man deals with the fire, returns back to Invincible and apologizes to him. Omni-man continues his conversation with Invincible and thanks him for the hard work. Invincible thanks Omni-Man for the compliment and they later both have lunch together.

While they eat lunch, Mark Grayson questions Nolan Grayson on how he will become stronger. Nolan Grayson answers that Mark Grayson will get stronger naturally with age, but is unsure if Mark Grayson will surpass him. Nolan Grayson suddenly gets a call, so he asks Mark Grayson to help him. Invincible and Omni-man arrive in the battle field and see the Flaxans causing destruction. Both of them battle the Flaxans and throw the Flaxans back into their portal.

The Flaxans start to age rapidly, giving both Invincible and Omni-Man an easier time in sending them back into their portal. Invincible stops Omni-Man from fighting the Flaxans as the Flaxans are retreating back into their portal due to their rapid aging. After their battle with the Flaxans, Invincible and Omni-Man race with each other to Lakeside Mall. Invincible arrives on Lakeside Mall and sees Omni-Man shaking someone. Omni-Man questions the person as to who put the explosive vest onto the latter.

The person is unable to answer Omni-Man, so Omni-Man throws the person in the sky before the person explodes. Invincible realizes that the person that was wearing the explosive vest was one of the students from his school. Suddenly, the Flaxans open a portal and take Omni-Man away. Invincible attempts to save Omni-Man, but fails due to the Flaxans closing the portal. Mark Grayson returns back home and tells Debbie that Nolan Grayson was taken by the Flaxans.

Issue #4[]

Invincible goes to the secret lair of the Teen Tam and asks Robot where Atom Eve is. Robot answers that Atom Eve and Rex Splode will arrive at the Teen Team secret lair for a quick check in. Robot questions Invincible if he knows that Atom Eve and Rex are dating, but that is not what Invincible wanted to talk about. Mark Grayson admits that he does not know and is mainly focused on avoiding the subject.

Mark Grayson admits that he finds it easier to fight villains rather than thinking about problems with Atom Eve. Mark Grayson believes himself to be mainly qualified for fighting villains which Eve feels as though that Mark Grayson is not tough enough to fight villains. Mark Grayson and Eve go to David Hiles's class after their conversation. In class, Mark Grayson starts to fall asleep, but wakes up to Eve. They prepare to talk to each other, so David Hiles makes an assumption that Eve and Mark Grayson are in love with each other.

Everyone in class starts to laugh, so Mark Grayson disagrees with David Hiles that Eve is not his girlfriend. David Hiles apologizes for his assumption to Mark Grayson, so Mark Grayson promises to not get distracted again. Once Mark Grayson leaves David Hiles's class, Mark Grayson says that David Hiles is a jerk. Mark Grayson goes with Eve and tells her that their class was uncomfortable. However, Mark Grayson is interrupted with Robot calling Eve.

Robot tells Eve that he suspects that David Hiles is the culprit that is turning the students into human bombs. After the call, Eve requests Mark Grayson to follow her to the dumpster. They both prepare to go into the dumpster, but the dumpster is occupied by two people. They eventually change into their superhero costumes into a different location and catch David Hiles. Atom Eve and Invincible follow David Hiles into his house and discover that David Hiles has strapped a bomb to their student, Derek.

David Hiles unbuttons his shirt and is revealed to be wearing a bomb to kill Invincible and Atom Eve. Thinking quickly, Invincible grabs David Hiles and throws him into the skies to explode. In the end of their conversation, Allen is surprised to find out that Invincible is a Viltrumite and that the latter's father fled the Earth out of guilt from betraying the planet.

Allen reveals his story of how his planet had been destroyed by the Viltrumites, his species struggling to survive, and not even knowing who his father is. Invincible apologizes for Allen's loss, but Allen feels as though that he should apologize to Invincible for not telling him about Earth being flagged for the Viltrumites to conquer. Invincible suggests that it would be a bad idea as he would tell Omni-Man about it and the circ*mstances would probably be worse. Allen notes that their conversation should be important news to deliver to the Coalition of Planets and Invincible promises to help Allen in any way he can to protect Earth from the Viltrumites. Allen questions Invincible as to what he is going to do now that Omni-Man is gone, so Invincible answers to Allen that he will finish high school.

Issue #14[]

Invincible alongside the Guardians of the Globe fight a Flaxan army and Robot is questioning Invincible as to why the Flaxans aren't aging. Invincible admits to Robot that he doesn't know what is going on, but they need to keep fighting the Flaxans or else they are going to lose. Soon, a Flaxan leader sitting on a throne that is on top of a mechanical robot arrives through a portal. Invincible attempts to fight the Flaxan leader, but is zapped away by the spears of the Flaxan leader's two guards. The Flaxan leader gloats that the Flaxans have been scheming for centuries in their home world before coming to Earth and have prepared themselves for battle to get revenge on Omni-Man and Invincible.

However, the Flaxan leader gets his wristband hit from Rex Splode's explosive energy ball and it causes the Flaxan leader's wristband to be destroyed. With the wristband destroyed, the Flaxan leader starts to age rapidly and it gives Robot the idea to alert the Guardians of the Globe on destroying the wristbands of the Flaxan army. After removing multiple wristbands from the Flaxan army, the Flaxans retreat by going back into their portal. In the aftermath of the battle, Robot thanks Invincible for his help and that a new team would be arriving to clean up the mess. Invincible returns back to the Grayson household, but before he enters his house, the Immortal appears behind him.

The Immortal warns Invincible that he will be watching him, but Invincible finds it unnecessary because he had stopped Omni-Man from conquering the Earth. Despite Invincible's achievements, Immortal still wants to watch him due to the Immortal not wanting to trust Invincible. Invincible goes inside his house through a window, but is suddenly met by Cecil Stedman inside the bedroom. Cecil Stedman tells Invincible to not worry about Immortal and that they need to talk about something important, but Invincible questions Cecil Stedman as to how the latter had gotten into the Grayson household. Mark questions Cecil Stedman as to what they need to talk about, so Cecil Stedman answers Mark Grayson as to how the latter's conversation with Omni-Man had been leaked into the media.

Mark Grayson starts to worry that his identity had been compromised by the leak, but Cecil Stedman calms his worries by telling Mark Grayson that no private information had been discussed during Mark Grayson's conversation with Omni-Man. Mark Grayson thanks Cecil Stedman for telling him about the leaked conversation about Omni-Man and Cecil Stedman promises Mark Grayson that the person that is responsible for leaking the conversation between Mark Grayson and Omni-Man will be caught. Mark Grayson goes down stairs to open the door that is being knocked. Mark Grayson opens the door and Art Rosenbaum comes into the house. Art Rosenbaum wishes to see Debbie Grayson to know what she is feeling and Mark Grayson takes Art Rosenbaum to Debbie watching recordings about Mark Grayson's conversation with Omni-Man.

Immediately after leaving the conversation, Amber Bennett kisses Mark Grayson and comforts him of his worries. Amber Bennett wishes to come to Mark Grayson's house, but Mark Grayson is not sure if he can fulfill Amber Bennett's request. Back at the Grayson household, Mark Grayson calls out for Debbie Grayson, but is unable to find her. He searches around the house and finds Debbie Grayson crying on the kitchen floor. Mark Grayson goes to Debbie Grayson to comfort her from Nolan Grayson's betrayal and Debbie Grayson blames Mark Grayson for driving Nolan Grayson away from Earth which makes Mark Grayson tear up.

Issue #15[]

In the morning, Mark Grayson goes to the kitchen with his backpack on, so that he can get ready for school. Mark Grayson picks up the food on the kitchen counter and thanks Debbie Grayson for making it for him. Debbie says that she's welcome and Mark Grayson sits on the couch to eat, but is unhappy. Debbie Grayson calls for Mark Grayson which makes him question what Debbie Grayson wants. Debbie Grayson wishes to apologize to Mark Grayson about their conversation last night about Nolan Grayson.

Mark Grayson attempts to justify Debbie Grayson's reaction last night, but Debbie Grayson tells Mark Grayson that her reaction last night was unjustified because Nolan Grayson had lied to both of them and betrayed Earth. Mark Grayson attempts to continue making justifications about Nolan Grayson's betrayal, but Debbie Grayson advises Mark Grayson to move on about Nolan Grayson's betrayal. Debbie Grayson stops their conversation when she tells Mark Grayson to hurry up for his school. Debbie Grayson tells Mark Grayson that she will come back home at night as she needs to meet up with Nolan Grayson's publisher in Chicago to sign paperwork. Mark Grayson apologizes to Amber Bennett about ending their conversation.

Mark Grayson runs away from Amber Bennett due to the beeper and Amber Bennett questions Mark Grayson as to why he needs a beeper. At the Pentagon, Invincible asks Cecil Stedman what the situation is. An Atlantean warrior immediately demands that Invincible comes with him, but Cecil Stedman tells him that he needs to have a quick chat with Invincible first. The Atlantean warrior allows Cecil Stedman to have a small talk with Invincible and Invincible is confused at the situation. Cecil Stedman tells Invincible that the Atlantean warriors need Invincible to come with them, so that Invincible can marry their queen.

When Omni-Man killed the Guardians of the Globe the laws of the Atlanteans state that the killer of Aquarus must marry the wife of Aquarus. However, since Omni-Man fled Earth, Invincible will need to marry the wife of Aquarus. Invincible agrees with Cecil Stedman to marry the wife of Aquarus and Cecil Stedman is confident that he can help Invincible not marry the wife of Aquarus because he believes that it will take more than a few hours for the Atlanteans to set up the wedding. After the conversation with Cecil Stedman, Invincible goes with the Atlantean warriors to go to Atlantis. Invincible goes on their spaceship and flies to Atlantis.

At Atlantis, Invincible comments on how beautiful the place is. Inside a building, one of the Atlantean warriors gives Invincible a breathing mask, so that Invincible can breathe on the water. Invincible goes inside a huge gate which opens for him, but the Atlantean warriors are unable to come in as they are not permitted to enter. Invincible enters through the tunnel and the guard gives him directions to swim at the end of it to reach the queen. Invincible reaches the end of the tunnel and is greeted by the queen.

Invincible waves at the queen, but Lethan scolds Invincible for not addressing the queen properly. However, the queen scolds Lethan for insulting Invincible which causes Lethan to frown with remorse. Invincible questions the queen on when they are going to get married, so Lethan answers Invincible that the wedding starts today. Once Invincible hears that it happens today, he becomes dumbfounded by what he had heard. Invincible is given a dress by Lethan which makes Invincible question what the dress is for.

Lethan answers that the dress is for the battle. Invincible questions Lethan again as to what he needs to wear after the battle and Lethan answers that Invincible does not need to wear anything because Invincible will copulate with the queen. Invincible asks Lethan if he will copulate with the queen after the ceremony, but Lethan answers Invincible that the latter will copulate with the queen during the ceremony as a way to show the queen and Invincible bonding with each other. Invincible wonders to Lethan if he will copulate with the queen outside the stadium, but Lethan explains to Invincible that the latter will copulate with the queen in the stadium as a way for Invincible and the queen to show their love to the crowd watching. Before Lethan continues answering Invincible, he wishes to be excused.

Once Lethan leaves Invincible, Invincible immediately calls Cecil Stedman and tells him that the wedding starts today. Cecil Stedman questions Invincible on when the wedding will start, so Invincible answers Cecil Stedman that the wedding starts today which makes Cecil Stedman annoyed. Invincible complains that he is going to lose his virginity to a fish which makes Cecil Stedman get surprised that Invincible is still a virgin. After his call with Cecil Stedman, Invincible notes that he hates wearing the dress that Lethan had given him. When Lethan explains what is going to happen at the wedding, Invincible notices Lethan's sad expression.

Invincible questions if Lethan is ok, but Lethan answers that he is not. Invincible questions if Lethan loves Aquaria which makes Lethan admit that he does, but is ashamed of speaking it up to Invincible. Invincible suggests to Lethan that he can have Aquaria due to Invincible only meeting her once. However, Lethan explains that he is not part of royalty which makes Invincible think of a plan where they are both benefitted. In the arena, Lethan announces to the people of Atlantis that Invincible is going to marry Aquaria.

While the crowd cheers, Invincible acts like a coward and hides under a rock due to the giant sea monster. Lethan scolds Invincible for refusing to save the queen, so Invincible orders Lethan to be the one to save Aquaria. Once Lethan prepares to fight the monster, Invincible claps which creates a strong shockwave that sends Lethan right towards the monster, knocking it out. With the monster defeated, Lethan and Aquaria make love with each other. Invincible comments that he does not want to watch Lethan and Aquaria make love, so he leaves Atlantis. After leaving Atlantis, he picks up Debbie Grayson from Chicago.

With Invincible passed out, Doc Seismic complains to him about how he ruined his life on the surface. Doc Seismic then has his giant spiders trap Invincible and Atom Eve in a bubble made of webs. Inside the web bubble, Invincible and Atom Eve wake up. Atom Eve wonders why Doc Seismic didn't kill them, so Invincible responds to her questions by saying that Doc Seismic probably wants to act like an old school supervillain. Before Atom Eve breaks herself and Invincible out of the web bubble, Invincible thinks up of a plan to free the other superheroes in their own web bubble before fighting Doc Seismic and his monsters.

Suddenly, Darkwing and a Reanimen army come rushing in to rescue the superheroes. Darkwing uses his weapons to free the superheroes while the Reanimen army attacks the monster of Doc Seismic. Although Invincible is confused as to why Darkwing and the Reanimens are helping them, he participates in the battle to defeat the monsters and Doc Seismic. Before Doc Seismic releases an attack that could crumble the entire underground, Invincible confronts him. Invincible prepares to punch Doc Seismic, but Doc Seismic is suddenly pulled to the ground by Darkwing.

Darkwing carries the defeated Doc Seismic and in response, Invincible punches Darkwing in the back while calling him a murderer. The superheroes are shocked to see Invincible beating Darkwing, so Invincible tells them of Darkwing's crimes. Cecil Stedman suddenly arrives and orders Invincible to stop fighting against the other superheroes and Darkwing. Invincible attempts to question Cecil Stedman about Darkwing, but Cecil Stedman wishes to talk later. Invincible flies out of the underground and sits down at a tree.

Atom Eve soon approaches Invincible and questions him as to why he is angry. Invincible explains to her about Darkwing's crimes and as to why they aren't revealed to the public. Invincible soon starts to suspect that Cecil Stedman is hiding from him. Invincible asks Atom Eve to return back home while he confronts Cecil Stedman at the Pentagon. At the Pentagon, Invincible questions Cecil Stedman as to why Darkwing is not in prison.

Cecil Stedman replies back by saying that he did it to protect humanity. Cecil Stedman points out that Invincible also murdered Angstrom Levy which means that Invincible is no different compared to Darkwing. However, Invincible defends himself with the justification that he did it to protect himself and his family, making it unfair to compare himself to Darkwing. D.A. Sinclair then arrives to talk to Cecil Stedman, but goes away when he sees Invincible. By seeing D.A. Sinclair, Invincible questions Cecil Stedman as to why he did not lock up D.A. Sinclair. Cecil Stedman then takes Invincible to a white room to continue their conversation.

Invincible questions Cecil Stedman as to why they are in a white room. Cecil Stedman answers to Invincible by saying that it is to surprise attack him with Reanimens.

Issue #50[]

Upon realizing that he has been ambushed by Cecil Stedman, Invincible fights off the Reanimen inside the white room. Invincible accuses Cecil Stedman for working with criminals and it causes Cecil Stedman to treat Invincible as his enemy. Invincible questions to Cecil Stedman if he has to become a criminal to become an ally to Cecil Stedman, but Cecil Stedman only finds Invincible to not be useful because he is defying him. Invincible believes that he has defeated all the Reanimens inside the white room, but when the white room disappears, it reveals that there are more Reanimen robots that Invincible needs to defeat. Cecil Stedman attempts to have Invincible to surrender, but he refuses.

In retaliation, Cecil Stedman uses a weapon that is inside Invincible's ear to hurt his equilibrium. Once Invincible realizes that there is a weapon inside his ear, he flies away from Cecil Stedman to be out of the weapon's range. While flying away, Cecil Stedman chases Invincible through teleportation until Invincible is finally in range for the weapon inside the ear to work. Before the chase ends, Invincible manages to crash into the base of the Guardians of the Globe, where he is able to get help. Inside the base, Invincible explains to the Guardian of the Globe about the secrets that Cecil Stedman is hiding from them.

After explaining Cecil Stedman's secrets to them, Cecil Stedman uses his weapon to disorient Invincible. Cecil Stedman uses the Reanimens to fight the Guardians of the Globe while they work to defend Invincible. During the battle, Rex Splode destroys Cecil Stedman's transmitter and it causes the weapon inside Invincible's ear to continuously ring. In Invincible's disoriented state, he is beaten up by the Reanimen until Robot manages to deactivate the weapon inside his ear. Once it is deactivated, Invincible fights off the Reanimen.

With the battle over, Cecil Stedman fires Invincible and threatens the other Guardians of the Globe of firing them. Before allowing Cecil Stedman to leave, Invincible pins him into a wall and threatens him to stay away from his family or he will die. Back at the Grayson household, Mark Grayson returns home injured during his reunion with his family. At the yard, Mark Grayson talks to Eve about what had happened with the Guardians of the Globe. Eve suggests that they both go inside, but Mark Grayson wants to talk to her personally.

He reveals to her that his feelings are real during the time he was nearly beaten to death by the group of Reanimens while he was feeling disoriented. Eve then holds his hand so that they can both kiss each other on the lips. While kissing, Oliver Grayson is disgusted by what he is watching.

Mark Grayson flies Oliver Grayson to Art Rosenbaum's store to give him a superhero costume. Inside the store, Oliver Grayson gets his costume and names himself as "Kid Omni-Man." However, Mark Grayson is reluctant to have Oliver Grayson use the word "Omni-Man" on his superhero name because of what their father had done to Earth. Oliver Grayson still wants to keep his superhero name as "Kid Omni-Man" so that he can honor Nolan Grayson's name. Art Rosenbaum then surprises Mark Grayson with a new version of his Invincible suit.

Mark Grayson is confused as to why he needs a new costume, so Art Rosenbaum explains to him that the old costume had an outdated design and wanted to improve the design through the new Invincible costume. Invincible scolds Oliver Grayson for being reckless and wants him to be more careful in future battles. They both fly back home, with Invincible being impressed that Oliver Grayson is getting better at flying. At the Grayson household, Invincible and Oliver Grayson see Debbie Grayson on top of Paul.

Soon, the TV news reporter reports of Oliver Grayson and Invinciboy's deeds of stopping both Furnace and Kursk. Seeing the news, Invincible is confused as to why he is being called "Invinciboy." Mark Grayson goes to the rooftop and expresses his annoyance of being called "Invinciboy" to Atom Eve who had just arrived. Atom Eve offers Mark Grayson a kiss as a way to calm himself down. Mark Grayson takes Atom Eve's offer, then they soon kiss with each other.

Suddenly, Oliver Grayson charges in to fight the Mauler Twins, but Invincible warns him to stay away from the battle. Invincible is unable to focus his attention on Oliver Grayson fighting a Mauler because he himself needs to focus on his own fight against a Mauler. Oliver Grayson then helps Invincible by attacking the Mauler that had attacked him. By doing so, the Mauler that Oliver Grayson had left is now preparing to use his weapon to kill Oliver Grayson. Invincible takes a look and is shocked to see that Oliver Grayson had killed the Mauler Twins. Invincible angrily orders Oliver Grayson to go up in the sky to talk. Mark Grayson angrily scolds Oliver Grayson for killing the Mauler Twins, but Oliver Grayson justifies himself with the fact that Mauler Twins are villains that needed to die. Mark Grayson tells him that superheroes aren't supposed to kill villains, but Oliver Grayson also tells Mark Grayson that he had also killed Angstrom Levy. However, Mark Grayson tells him that Angstrom Levy's death was an accident, in which Oliver Grayson also says that the Mauler Twin's deaths were also an accident.

Mark Grayson then starts his conversation again and warns Oliver Grayson to be careful in killing villains. However, Oliver Grayson is unable to see a reason to care about the lives of villains. Mark Grayson in return teaches Oliver Grayson as to why life is precious, but Oliver Grayson is unable to see the meaning of life. Oliver Grayson instead remarks that humanity is insignificant, which makes Mark Grayson note that Oliver Grayson is starting to sound like Nolan Grayson. Mark Grayson believes that Oliver Grayson is not serious because the latter had spent more time on Thraxa than on Earth. William Clockwell requests for help in moving his items, in which Mark Grayson obliges. After helping William Clockwell move his belongings, Invincible patrols Earth until he finds Titan outside the Stronghold Penitentiary. Invincible wants to stop Titan from entering the Stronghold Penitentiary, but because Titan had technically not broken any laws, he plans on bringing harassment charges to Invincible if the latter threatens to attack him.
